We provide a battery for my MyEli jewel purchase. The battery is located in the back of the black dome. The battery can be replaced the same way as the battery of a watch. We encourage you to ask a jeweler or a watchmaker to change the battery of the jewel.

How MyEli Jewelry works with my Smartphone
The MyEli connected jewel communicates with a device through the latest Bluetooth 5.2 standard. It is configured to send microwaves to the device when the button is pressed. After pairing, Jewel goes into in sleep mode to reduce power consumption.
The Bluetooth signal works on a range up to 100 feet or 30 meters between the connected jewel and a device. By comparison, AirPods emit a Bluetooth connection up to 30 feet / 10 meters.
No, the audible alarm is optional. When triggering the connected jewel, only the sending of a text message and an alert call are mandatory. The user is in control of his connected jewel. It is therefore up to you to configure the jewel as you wish.
No, the connected jewel is not a GPS tracker. The jewel will only check for your GPS position after and only after you press the button. Each alert click returns your GPS position over a tracking period of 5 minutes.
This is a tricky question. The principle of GPS is a satellite geolocation of your cardinal points. The GPS therefore cannot be so precise when it comes to your underground location, so it will be an approximate point, located on the “street or area above you”.
It is mandatory to have power on your smartphone to be able to use a MyEli connected jewel. If you run out of power, the Bluetooth connection cannot be made with your device.
To send its position and GPS tracking, your device must have a 3G/4G/5G connection, and therefore a mobile network connection. If the network is cut off, the sending of text message and the alert call could not be made.
We have ensured that the click of the MyEli connected jewel is strong enough to feel the click sensation in case of danger. Between the silicone dome and the click of the electronic chip, there is a “dead” zone, so that there is no untimely triggering. In the event of an untimely triggering of a click, you can stop the alert via your device by clicking on “False alert”. It is strongly recommended not to sleep with your connected jewel or leave it in the hands of young children.

Unlike IOS (iPhone), Android has its own mode of operation. On each

your telephone, by its mobile application) You should then check that your device settings are
configured correctly.
To do this, go to your settings > MyEli application.
- Please ensure that the following permissions are enabled:
- Battery saver: No restriction & autostart enabled ✅ (under Android)
- Automatic start: ✅ Activated (under Android)
- Background location: ✅ Always allow (under Android and iPhone) (The menu may be presented differently depending on your phone model)
We also advise you to check that your emergency contacts entered in your application are correctly entered, namely:
- No “0” in front (+33) representing the country code.
- The time slot(s) correctly selected.
- Do not forget to open your application every 24 hours, to allow a constant connection of the jewel, if you use it daily
